We went over shading, and shading techniques today. I enjoyed learning how to properly shade with a tattoo machine, and now I feel more confident in my abilities and know I will only get better as time progresses. Meg C. Today was a DEFINITE improvement! Granted I came in at the ass-end of a cold, but I wasn’t feeling too confident. Shading came much more natural to me than lining. shading had a similar feel to using an actual pencil, and having the web layout for our first shading piece was a great pick.

Today we went over on how to properly tune a machine. We went over the different parts of a tattoo machine, how they work, and what to listen for when tuning it.
