Meg C. Wow, last day. I’m a bit disappointed that I didnt finish the scorpion tribal on my husband’s shoulder, but after Mike told me I chose a semi-difficult piece to begin with, I felt a little better. Also, we learned that we were using a needle size that wasnt compatible with the size of the tube, which in turn hindered the beginning stages of the tattoo. All in all, I know I can only progress from here. I have learned so much these past three weeks and am looking forward to working on more tattoos! THANKS TATTS!!! (^ – ^)
Luis Sotelo
Today is my last day here at TATTS. I worked on and finished my second tattoo today. It came out pretty good, and I’m definitely proud of it. I felt more confederate today then the one I worked on yesterday, and I applied a lot of what I learned doing my first tattoo. But with each new tattoo I work on, I learn new things about tattooing. My techniques are improving, with each tattoo, and I feel real good about that. I want to thank Rick, Brady and Mike for being great teachers. Thank you guys. Thanks for your hard work and patience. I’ll use what I learned here, and make you guys proud. Good luck in all your future endeavors, and I wish you all very well. Luis Sotelo Today I tattooed my first piece on a live person. It took me a few tries to get it right, but with the guidance of my instructors, I was able to pick it up fairly quickly and gain confidence in what I was doing. There were a lot of thing going through my mind as I was tattooing my friend Ana, who volunteered to be my first customer. First off, I didn’t want to screw up because my she had trusted me with a part of her body for me to tattoo on. Also I was trying to use all of the lessons I had been previously tough, in order to do a good job on my first tattoo. But at first I was getting frustrated because the tattoo wasn’t turning out the way I had planed for it to come out. My instructors were with me throughout the whole tattoo guiding me and letting me know where I needed to correct myself, so that the finished product turn out looking great. And it did. This was an awesome experience and I took a lot of important lessons from it. I definitely feel, that I’m on my way to becoming a great tattoo artist someday, thanks to the lessons my instructors though me, here at TATTS. Roman M. Today is the last day of class, excited to come, but sad to go. I learned alot and still ready for more, I take my kit and my certificates home, Im ready for the road I laid down before me. Thank you all and I am pleased to be a student of TATTS.
